that could be possible, i guess... i've seen the game do some strange things to textures based on how a rectangular area was divided into polys; i suppose similar issues could come up in other areas as well. let me know what you find out.

there's a walk mesh associated with placeable objects; i think it's a .pwk file. these files keep you from being able to walk through placeable models in the game.

if you cut this model out of a tileset, you'll need to create a .pwk file for it.

i've only done minimal "fixing" work so far, but mostly i've used notepad. low tech, definitely not sexy, but it works.
