important tip for lighting

Postby Winterhawk99 » Sun Mar 18, 2012 5:49 pm

While going through Best in Slots latest video I came upon a lighting rule he mentioned. Because of rendering limits you can only put a maximum of 4 shadow lights in the dungeon. That includes the player so if you have 4 lights that create shadow and the player casts candlelight one of your shadow producing lights goes out.

Ummm... in how large an area? If your "dungeon" has long tunnels that connect various rooms, are you limited to 3 lights per room or for the entire area as created in the CK?
