Mixing Pot


Melocia sat in one of her favorite places in morzelmore enjoying the afternoon in the heart. the Central tree quietly singing to her with the wind. While she sat enjoying the late summer air Coric Lane and Elkje.

The three spoke for a while. elkje told her story of how she seemed to faint and suddenly was here. Melocia takeing a mild intrest in the young adventurers story. Elkje then told her of her fainting spells once or twice a day and occasional head aches. Melocia seemed to perk up a bit more interested in the young bards story.

Mel asked about when they started and a few more basic questions finding out that they started with Elkjes arrival. She then offered to possibly find a cure in her lab since at one time she was a student teacher of alchemy at the famed academy of greyhawk. Elkje and Coric agreed readily and followed Mel to her apartment. Mel threw a spell at her crystal ball enacting the magic to open the small teleporter to her sealed in lab. and she told them to follow her.

They went threw the summoning circle and into the jump which blinked them a short distance to Mels lab.

Mel Perused her library until she found a particular book of alchemy and brought it to her little pedasal in front of the cauldron. as she was paging though she asked more detailed questions of Elkje.

she asked how many times the fainting and head aches came . Elkje said once or twice a day again. Mel opened the book and flipped a few pages. Elkje had complete amnisia so Mel again flipped more pages. She then asked Elkje if she was pregnant which Elkje replied I hope not. Mel giggles and flipped some more pages. She read off the symptoms again. Fainting and headaches once or twice a day, Amnisia, and headaches. "Ah! mel exclained " I think i have it here "

Mel walked over to the Shelf with all her jars and boxes of ingredients and started taking jars out. As she was opening jars and putting ingredients in she explained everything to both Coric and Elkje. She took a strand of hair our of one jar and put it in the cauldren. She told them that this was a hair from an ehrin. a very rare ingredient. Then she put three dead beetles in the cauldern explaining them. She closed all her jars and put them on the table and cast a spell over the cauldern.

She then ladled out the concoction and gave it to Elkje explaining that there may be a slight side effect. This potion has been known to change people into other things for a short time and not to worry if she does. the effects only last a few hours or at least mel thought it did.

Elkje looked at the potion and was a bit timid. She didnt thing the concoction looked tasty at all and mentioned it to mel. Mel just smiled and said none of them taste really good.

Elkje finally got her nerve up and drank it down instantly turning into a pixie. Coric and mel laughed, while Elkje was wondering why they suddenly got so big. Then she saw what she was and got a little mad for a moment but calmed as Mel told her it wont last long. Mel crosser her fingers hoping that it would be a short time.

Elkje then started to get memories of her past life and started talking about a city. both Mel and Coric were a bit amazed and happy that she seemed to be getting her memory back. Mel breathing a slight sigh of relief.

elkje turned back to her true form in an hour or so and they all went out of the lab and sat at mel's table. They talked a bit then both Coric and Elkje left very happy with the results.

The potion seemed to work. Will it give her her memorys back fully and will her fainting and headaches stop?
Only time will tell.
