Aldisendry looks out over the Bayou then back to sanser. Sanser pushes him forward with the end of his sword point, " Get along now. I've been waiting for this for a very long time."
Aldisendry starts to walk in closely looking at things that slither and slip just out of his vision. Making sure that he carefully steps. about 1/2 mile in Sanser stops him. Aldisendry sais, " If I survive this sanser... I will return" Sanser laughs, "Aldi, More powerful mages and cutthroats have gone here to simply vanish. Just about all have said the same thing and none have come back. Good by enjoy your short life. If you do manage to come back you will be hunted down and killed."
Sanser cuts Adli's bonds and backs away out of sight keeping an eye on the mage so that he doesnt get hit with a spell. He joins his 5 archers and they back out of the swamp for flying in the swamp is near impossible with the canopy. They wait at the edge for a week just to make sure that Aldi didnt find the path to return then they march northeast to A morzelmore that is much more pleasent to live in.
along the way One of the guard whispers to Sanser, " Sanser.....What of Tarasaurus?" Sanser looks up to the northeast, " He too will have his time Thadius. We have a few aces in the hole now too." Sanser grins and continues on.
Two figures in Light Mail stood over the body. They both examined it very closely. Chiaki was a bit confused by it but Ryouma wise in the ways of battle was armed with both the information of the Orcs and his own observations here.
Chiaki walked slowly around the battlescene taking in all she could account for Then got an Idea. She nodded, "There were two here father?" Ryouma smiled, " Yes, Chiaki. What else do you see?"
The young girl Thinks a moment then replies, " Two came There was at least some talk and movement. Both were in heavy armor warriors or perhaps a priests........." Ryouma interupts her suddenly very interested, "Why do you say that Chiaki?" Chiaki says, " The footprints bear the mark of heavy armor one set smaller than the other and the wounds on Mytheris'es body are both by sword and somthing blunt........A club or mace possibly a morning star."
The scared old elf smiles, " Your learning well Chiaki and will be a fine leader someday to lead the house of Taki. You must know your enemy as well as yourself that was Metheris'es mistake. A power he didn't know about caught him offguard." He frowns and continues, " The Orcs weren't sure what exactly what kind of creatures they were. They said the figures seemed to be sophisticated humans unlike the cannibals of the plains. If human society comes back our new way of life will become complicated. Humans are evil and dangerous my daughter far worse than the Tansues for at least the Tansu have honor and courage even though traitorous.
These humans they eat and conquer everything they see and devour the lands around them. These were human you can tell by the shape and size of the prints and the way the wounds are laid down and with great persision. Not only are the organized humans back they have become powerful for only two to take down young Metheris here.
Chiaki sighs, " What will we do father?" Ryouma without hesitation sais, " We will report this to the council and slay all the Orc leaders anyone who saw the two. Pick out new chiefs and leave the Orcs to their care. The council will decide what to do next. We must keep our prescence here secret as possible at all cost." The girl nods and bows to her father. Ryouma returns the bow, " Let us go back home and report for now ill order the entrance blocked and guarded. We will have to train you better and faster Chiaki just in case they stumble upon our home."
Ryouma turns and walks down off the hill to his horse Chiaki always a step behind as they leave Chiaki asks, "Father when do you think........" Ryouma cuts her off, " Its far too early for you Chiaki. Your time will come but you must be properly prepared for it or you will end up like your brother taken. The way of the sword is not lightly taken and always carries a heavy burden." Chiaki looks down. Her father laughs, " Do not worry my daughter everyones time comes everyone must face that fear if they chose to follow."
The two ride east into the mountains both in sorrow and in continplation
