Koydras Cruetiv
Koydras was brought up to follow in the footsteps of his family. His family line is known for their interests in the magic arts, none were all powerful arch magus except for his great grandpa Valawynn. Valawynn was a very respected wizard in the land of Krynn. His knowledge of history and the arcane was unmatched. If you ever needed an answer Koydras great grandpa was the one to ask.
Koydras was raised in the beautiful port city of Tarsis (pre cataclysm). When he was five years old he began his studies at the mage school in Tarsis. His ability to absorb the knowledge taught to him by his teachers was outstanding. Koydras was a loner not interested in child things. He spent all of his time practicing the magic spells that he was assigned to learn so he could cast them flawlessly. If he wasn’t seen practicing spells he had his nose in some book. His yearning for knowledge of history and magic was unquenchable, and this reminded his teachers of his great grandpa. As Koydras grew up he became very adept at magic and herbalism. When the time came and he was deemed ready to take the test Koydras journeyed to the mage tower of Wayreth . There he took the test that all mages have to take to further their studies. He passed the test and donned the red robes, choosing to follow Lunitari the neutral god of magic. Since he had passed the test the library in the tower of Wayreth was open to him. He spent years in the tower library gaining knowledge of the histories of Krynn, and the understanding of magic.
One day Koydras was at the library as usual looking over the many books that were there. He was looking at books about dragons that were on the bottom shelf. He was looking for a certain book on green dragons when something caught his eye. He saw the corner of what looked like a book behind the books he was looking at. He moved the books out of he way and pulled out the dusty book from behind them. He dusted off the book as best he could but could not make out any title, all that was on the book was a stitched picture of a tower. He took the book and sat down at his usual spot by the fireplace. He opened up the book and began reading. The book was about the legend of the Lost Citadel. As he read the book Koydras found out that the Lost Citadel was a tower that held all the secrets of magic. The citadel was where the first mages met and made that orders of high sorcery. Koydras stayed up until he was done the whole book. What he found out astonished and amazed him. The lost citadel was where magic was created, and he wanted to go there. If he could find the lost citadel than all the knowledge of magic would be his.
