I met another cat woman, Sym. At first she confused me. One moment she was a big black cat, the next she was two legged, an elf I believe. But she told me she had just learned how to become a cat. That is strange and she is different. She asked me a lot of questions and wanted to know if I was a cat or a human. I guess I can be both since I can become a woman at will.
I told her of my plans to go west and she wanted to travel with me. She wanted to show me things, she said.
We travelled a very dangerous road guarded by ox men that did all they could to catch and kill us. We finally arrived in a village and she showed me the surrounding countryside. We visited a dryad and a priest called Elpis.
Back in the village i once more felt the pull and wanted to go west.
We went through an area with lots of water, like a river delta. I could feel the pull stronger as we got further into that place.
We ended up in a beautiful valley with waterfalls coming from a great rock.
Sym could tell me that she and some other druids had cleared that place from an evil dragon earlier. She mentioned a river god with a name like falling water.
I guess what happened here is what i could feel all the time.
When I was there with Sym I felt as if everything was right. Almost as if I had found a new home. I could speak the common language much better than before and felt new powers take form in me.
She was happy to see me like this, like the good friend she is.
