The Uprising that backfired


It was Midday when the fighting erupted on the streets. No one knew who started it but it spead across the city until all of Morzelmore was fighting. Arryk caught in the middle of it had to fight through both guard and citizen to make his way out.

Merago and the vales were attacked by Thieves about the same time.

The two met with Sanser who told them the claw was attacking the city to take control after the recent setbacks the leaders have been having. Sanser then told the pair to seek out baron braxton. They set out twoard the south gate finding Vent and Thistos along the way and moved twoard the barons hideout.

They fought their way through the graveyard loosing vent along the way and found one of braxtons men desprately fighting the claw. He guided the three part of the way then was killed by more of the claws men. Arryk, Merago and Thistos finally made it to the hideout and were ushered in by one of the men unlocking cave entrance for them.

They spoke to braxton who knew it was finally time to make a play for the guild himself. He sent 12 of his best men out in front to clear the way for the adventurers who quickly made their way back to morzelmore. there they entered first the claw and quietly snuck up to the secound floor. they let loose spell and sword on the bunch and killed most of the leaders of the claw while Baron Braxton newly arrived in morzelmore assasinated the members of the claw downstairs.

Braxton then told them to get the gambling den. The three entered the gambling den to find many dragonkin already slain. They mopped up the rest of the claw that was there and came back to the claw.

Baron Braxton proclaimed himself leader of the thieves guild of morzelmore and made Merago one of his luetinents promising great rewards for the group including Anwan a position as a luetenent when he returns.

Tarasaurus and Tilsaurus were no where to be found and either were out in the field attacking someone or escaped the eyes of the rest of morzelmore and fled.

Sadly Sanser died fighting with the few faithful to him against the rest of the guard of Morzelmore. Soon after he died a Figure came out of the woods and picked up the body. the living among his guard drew their swords. The figure opened up her great black wings and hisssed at them making the guard flee in terror. the figure flew off with the body to the south.



A few days later Zaphro walks across the known lands going to Tangwetsyl first then to the vales and finally Haakon's keep. she posts a notice

A Forthnight from now (sunday 3:30pm est) Lord Valarios and the City of Morzelmore would like to have a confrence with all the known villages and outposts of both the offworlders and free peoples in the known lands. We seek to mend fences now that the cunning claw has all but been eradicated from Morzelmore. All are welcome. thus we will start the 1rst Meeting of the peoples of Sierra na.
