Is it possible ?

Post by Darkvalley »

Hello everyone, and first of all excuse my bad english, its not my native language. Try to point out my question : I'm building on my own mod (just for my friend & me) for about 2-3 months. Starting this , don't have in mind that your wonderful project come to release , neither know anything about it

Use the Cave Ruins Tile set modified by Neverroofers . I made a few areas with this and figured out a few faults in toolset. Is there a chance to work on with your clean and smooth version of this tileset AND keep my own areas alive, or did i have to built all right from the start again ?:(

Thanks for your Attention

greetings

Unfortunately, you will have to start all over.

Our tiles are named differently for one thing, AND we added things to the set as well.

Thank you very much Bannor for the quick Info. I've made a second thought about this, and have another question. Is it possible to have both tilesets in my haklist? Then i could turn on with your new and propper set and left the "old " one on a dead-end track only supporting my "firstmade" Areas?

Anyway :) I wish you all a fine new Year !!

greetings

Yes, but you need to make a new .hak to merge them without incident.

Darkvalley, you can do it as Mask suggests OR, just place the ctp_haks above the older haks. They won't interferre with each other that way either.
