CTP Babylon minimap update

Post by rolo kipp »

<laying out...>

Ok, DLing the updated CTP Babylon now.

As I understand what needs to be done:
+locate a minimap water texture
+identify minimap elements that require water texture
+add water texture to those elements
+send updated elements to Bannor/Este

Am I on the right track?

That is one way to go about it.

Not really sure it is worth the effort though, as it would be easier in the long run, to just edit the .set file settings for the groups where shipping is required, to make the 'random" tiles turned into a specific tile. In fact, I will be doing this, and will be attempting to fix the Rooftops water tiles also. It is just going to take some time for me to get it done. The shipping bits, should only take a few minutes, and then I can generate minimaps fairly quickly for those groups. The Rooftops, I am not sure if I can decrypt them yet, I have to find the tools for that etc...

Thanks for the offer Rolo, it is/was appreciated.

I have fixed them all now, and uploaded them to the vault FTP. Once BeyondThePale transfers the file to the correct location I will let you know.

<reading from an ancient tome...>

Awesome :-)

You *do* know I'm just buttering you up for when I start building my impossibly complicated tilesets, right?

Full disclosure! :D
