Firstly, understanding me - I live in a fairly remote potion of vancouver island, the nearest store is about 12 km away, the closest town in twice that. I'm treed in on all sides and backed up against a swamp that Vorhees would proudly call home. While I do have high speed internet, my connection is poor. Really poor. Too slow to ever do what I gotta do...
I'm in need of a host and a partner. I'm not in need of any specific skill set, just a love of the game and an inet connect that don't blow bubbles, like mine. I'm not looking for someone to volunteer up their rig to host something pre constructed either, I'm looking for a cutter to build with. Mayhaps an individual with an idear or two of their own. I do have a working ruleset that is very comprehensive, all the hard work is already done, but niether is it so ridgid to discount modifications or expansions.
I want to build someplace to show off WoRms, Rosenkrantz, CMP, CTP, CSP, and CMP ...I gotta use CEP v2.1 cuz of the PC components... I know y'all are kinda grumpy with one and other... but I gotta do it. To hell with 2.2, but 2.1 is alright.
I'm naming the project CAP, in the spirit of this here menagerie of Zions... Thats Community Adventure Project.
My qualifications? I've been a developer on Dysotopia, Arkania, Anvarath, once I mistakenly got tangled up with this Spanish fella, who misappropriated the mod, my handle and posted it all to the vault, which was a terribly embarrassing fiasco... and most recently, I've been working on Middle Earth Role Playing - which has died. So now, I'm homeless.
I script, I write and I paint. I'm a hell of a builder and those 17 points, I made earlier is the mantra I ohm.
Beyond my PW work, my contributions to the community have been minimal, so I can't whip out any kinda awards or heap upon you any sort of prestige... I think I submitted the prototype of my milk-able cow years ago... So my name is not in lights anywhere, but Hall of Fame status doesn't motivate me. I'll gladly satisfy myself with a pack of happily addicted players.
I'd rather not come in in the middle, so joining a mod thats already up and going... is problematic. I've got my ideas about the sand box I want to build and I've run afoul of others before.
If working with me, has any appeal at all, lemme know.
I'm dedicated to the cause and beyond my roguish, irish charm, I can sing... I got the voice of a goblin twice dipped in alchemist fire and set alight.
