Link expired. ;)
New link for download here

------------------------------------------

Also let me quote the "terms of use" <_<
- no minimaps yet
- very few variations
- no raise/lower option (peaks are still to be added)
- no native vegetation yet
- no area border tiles
- anything else that you can't find, it's not in YET
Furthermore, keep in mind that the screenshots I am posting recently come from the up-to-date version of this tileset. The one provided here is an earlier stage of the development, but still very good to have a feel of the goal I am pursuing and of the technical performances

First of all, just wanted to say that I've been keeping an eye on this project, and it looks better every time I check on it. :) I really like OMB's idea of making a "World Map" version--interactive world maps a-la "Summoner" style are a lot of fun and make for a much easier time of designing random encounters and the like (triggers instead of long, complicated scripts based on clicks).

Anyhow, rock on Lord Rosencrantz! While I don't need it quite yet in my series, this one's definitely staying on the radar of "may add it". :)

I really like the stuff you have done with this set so far and I may use some to make a barren hills area for tansition into a desert by just retexing but I will wait for your permission as I would not want to just steal your stuff especially since yours isn't complete yet and you have not got to show it off. The hills set will be a small involing raiding bandits in the hills, but keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the finished product.

I am still working on this project, no worries. I am just being really busy irl, so progress is slow.
Here a couple of new thumbnails to click and get an idea of the approach I am taking to the lake terrain. Notice the deep water effect, isn't it starting to look good?

s030363l, please hold on for a while on that desert retexturing, let's talk about it once the tileset is reaching a more complete stage (hopefully won't take too long <_<)

Quite Nice.

Advice: Create a slightly better looking character for screenshots. The ugly guy's ruining the quality. ;)

I wouldn't think of using something you had not even completed yet or without your permission shame on you it was just an idea. Lord Rosenkrantz the water textures look great, and good to still see you around, good luck. We'll talk after we have finished our projects about further endevors. By the way did you ever finish those ship interiors you spoke of in the forums not long ago.

Nope, but next weekend is gonna be a long weekend off work (4-5 days in a row), so I am definitelly going to invest part of that time into the ship interiors rework. Or, in the worst case, xmas holidays are coming up soon...
